QUERCUS BICOLOR BEACON
Grower Notes:

Commonly referred to as the Beacon® Swamp White Oak, this narrow, columnar deciduous tree is quite adaptable to urban settings. It was first discovered in 2007 by famed plantsman Dr. Michael Dirr while he was in Virginia.

Outstanding upright branching structure and dense foliage makes it ideal as a street tree. It grows best in full sun, but can tolerate some shade. The growth rate is slow to start, but gradually increases to a moderate rate. It has nice yellow fall color.
