Potentilla fruticosa 'Goldfinder' is commonly referred to as Goldfinger Potentilla or Goldfinger Shrubby Cinquefoil. It is a deciduous shrub with small, dark green, mounding foliage and showy, large golden yellow flowers that bloom all summer attracting butterflies, bees and other beneficial pollinators. This hardy, easy-care selection is pest, disease and deer resistant.
Goldfinger Potentilla thrives in full to part sun in average, well-drained soils. It will not tolerate consistently wet conditions. It can be drought tolerant once established and thrive in city environments. It is ideal for beds, borders and as an informal hedge.
