PICEA OMORIKA PENDULA BRUNS

Picea omorika 'Pendula Bruns' is commonly referred to as the Bruns' Weeping Serbian Spruce. It gets its name from the Bruns Nursery back in 1955 where this unique seedling originated. Pendula Bruns has its own unique look - no two are alike! It features a very narrow, columnar, evergreen habit that has a strong central leader with weeping branches that cascade and closely hug the trunk. Bluish-silver needles surround its trunk and then over time, carpet the ground beneath.
The Pendula Bruns Serbian Spruce thrives in full sun in moist, well-drained soils. It prefers cooler climates over hot and humid conditions. It truly is a sight to see!
