MACS GOLD WHITE SPRUCE

Picea glauca 'Mac's Gold' is a distinctive white spruce that features bright yellow needle color on new growth that fades to gray-green needles that cover branches with a broad, pyramidal habit. It shines in early spring as a bright yellow flush of new foliage brings the addition of small red cones that brighten its display. Foliage fades to green to finish out the year.

Mac's Gold white spruce is relatively low maintenance and thrives in average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. Under good conditions, Mac's Gold can be expected to live for 50 years or more!
