PICEA GLAUCA DENSATA
Grower Notes:

Picea glauca 'Densata' is commonly referred to the Black Hills Spruce. It is a slow-growing strain of white spruce with a dense, symmetrical habit with emerging short, bright green needles that age to a nice blue-green. it is considered resistant to hard winters and damage that heavy snow can leave behind.

Black Hills Spruce thrives in full sun but will tolerate light shade. It enjoys evenly moist, but well-drained soils, and performs best in cooler climates - Zones 3-6.
