Panicum virgatum 'Niagara Falls' PPAF is commonly referred to as Niagara Falls Switch Grass. It is part of the Proven Winners® Prairie Winds® collection and features wide, arching powder blue foliage and cream colored seed heads in fall. It is a graceful yet strong specimen and is deer resistant.
Niagara Falls Switch Grass thrives in full sun in average, well-drained soil. It is ideal near ponds, streams or even containers. It can be drought tolerant once established and can also withstand periodic flood conditions.
