Miscanthus sinensis 'Oktoberfest' PP27074 is commonly known as Oktoberfest Maiden Grass. This selection, without a doubt, is one of the very best Miscanthus on the market. It features wide, deep green leaves with a white midrib. It blooms earlier than 'Gracillimus' and has much improved fall color. Autumn brings burgundy plumes that fade to cream as its foliage turns a showy red.
Oktoberfest Maiden Grass thrives in full sun in fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It provides long lasting fall color to any landscape.
