MALUS JONAGOLD
Grower Notes:

Malus domestica 'Jonagold' is commonly referred to as Jonagold Apple tree. It is a popular cultivar that is semi-dwarf and grows to 12-15 feet tall and wide. It features white blossoms which appear in spring, followed by large, red-over-yellow apples with a juicy yellow-white flesh and a nice balanced flavor. It ripens in mid-September and requires a pollinator such as a Golden Delicious, Red Delicious and Gala - all in the Flowering Group No. 4. Parentage: Jonathan and Golden Delicious. Jonagold is a triploid variety which will not pollinate other apple varieties.

Jonagold apple trees thrive in full sun in deep, loamy, fertile, slightly acidic, evenly moist, well-drained soils.
