Lagerstroemia 'Peppermint Mocha' PP32,244 is commonly referred to as Peppermint Mocha™ Crapemyrtle. It is part of the Barista® dwarf collection and features a fast-growing, dense, compact habit with woody, burgundy-colored stems that bear semi-glossy burgundy red foliage. In late summer, gorgeous clusters of bright pink flowers open from shiny red buds attracting hummingbirds and butterflies. Green seed pods follow the flowers.
Peppermint Mocha™ Crapemyrtle is mildew resistant and thrives in full sun in rich, fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soil. It can be drought tolerant once established.
