Hypericum kalmianum 'PIIHYP-1' PP25318 is commonly referred to as Cobalt-N-Gold™ St. Johnswort. This First Editions® selection is a mounded grower that features silver-green leaves blanketed with golden yellow flowers in the late spring and early summer. This is an excellent choice to bring bees and other beneficial pollinators to your yard! Finely cut silver-green leaves transform to yellow, orange, and red in fall. Exfoliating bark adds additional interest.
Cobalt-N-Gold™ Hypericum is easy to grow and thrives in full to part sun in rich, loamy, evenly moist, well-drained soils. This is a beautiful four-season plant that provides interesting color and texture throughout the year. It is ideal for naturalizing areas and for general landscape use. It also looks fantastic in containers!
