MINERVA ROSE OF SHARON
Hibiscus syriacus 'Minerva' is commonly referred to as Minerva Rose of Sharon. This is an adaptable shrub or small tree that features stunning single, lavender-pink flowers with a red eye. Handsome, dark green foliage is both deer and drought resistant.
Minerva Rose of Sharon adapts to various soils, tolerant to air pollution and can thrive in city environments. It enjoys full to partial sun in rich, fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soils. A nice bonus of Hibiscus syriacus cultivars is the ability to manipulate them into a tree shape for a more formal architectural feature.
