Grower Notes:

Ginkgo biloba 'Fastigiata' is commonly referred to as Fastigiata Maidenhair Tree or Columnar Ginkgo Tree. It is a fast-growing, deciduous, upright male clone Ginkgo cultivar that is noteworthy for being resistant to storm damage and its narrow habit. It reaches 40-50 feet tall with a spread of 12 feet. Distinctive fan-shaped rich green leaves grow in bunches at the ends of stems and turns a brilliant yellow in fall. It does not set fruit.

Fastigiata Ginkgo thrives in full sun in average, well-drained soils. It is ideal as a city tree as it tolerates urban environments.
