Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Vintage Gold' is commonly referred to as the Vintage Gold Falsecypress. It is a slow-growing, mounding evergreen shrub with soft, fern-like foliage that maintains its bright yellow color through the summer without fading. This dwarf, compact variety is easy to grow and is deer resistant.
Vintage Gold Falsecypress enjoys full to partial sun in rich, moist, well-drained soils. It is ideal for foundation plantings, rock gardens and mixed borders.
