Caryopteris clandonensis 'Summer Sorbet' PP15935 is commonly referred to as Summer Sorbet Caryopteris or Summer Sorbet Bluebeard. It is a compact, deciduous shrub with a tight habit. It is noteworthy for its variegated yellow and dark green aromatic foliage and its compact habit. It features pale blue flowers in late summer through early fall that attract butterflies, bees and other beneficial pollinators.
The easy growing, deer resistant, Summer Sorbet Caryopteris loves the sun. It will thrive in full sun in evenly moist, well-drained soils. It will not tolerate standing water. It is ideal for foundation and border plantings, and butterfly and cottage gardens.
