GOLDEN TRIUMPH BOXWOOD

Buxus microphylla 'Golden Triumph' is commonly referred to as Golden Triumph Boxwood or Golden Triumph Korean Boxwood. It is a hardy, low-growing evergreen Japanese Boxwood that features tiny green leaves with showy golden-yellow margins. It is a slow grower valued for its yellow variegation that emerges gold in spring. In winter the foliage turns forest green.

Golden Triumph Boxwood is a low maintenance selection that thrives in full sun to partial shade. It enjoys average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It is ideal for mass plantings, borders and containers.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining soil, selecting a location that offers full sun to partial shade. Buxus varieties are known for their shallow root systems, so consistent watering is vital to keep the soil evenly moist, especially during the first growing season. Prune as needed in late spring or early summer to maintain your desired form, avoiding late-season pruning which can stimulate new growth susceptible to winter damage.
