BERBERIS THU LAMBRUSCO
Grower Notes:
Berberis thunbergii 'BailElla' is commonly referred to as Lambrusco™ Barberry. A striking compact, barberry with foliage that emerges red then deepens to a rich burgundy as the season progresses. Makes a great substitute for 'Crimson Pygmy' in cooler climates. Cold hardy and deer/rabbit resistant.
Lambrusco™ thrives in full sun and average well-drained soil. It can be drought tolerant once established. Very attractive groundcover.
