Grower Notes:

Cabernet® Barberry is a beautiful shrub that features dense, crimson new growth foliage followed by reddish-purple in summer, maturing to bright yellow in fall. It is a tough and adaptable shrub with clusters of yellow flowers in mid spring followed by showy red drupes in fall.

The Cabernet® Barberry thrives in full to part sun in average, well-drained soils. It will not tolerate standing water. It is considered drought tolerant once established and can thrive in city environments, able to handle street salt and urban pollution well.
