BERBERIS THU BAGATELLE
Grower Notes:

Berberis thunbergii 'Bagatelle' is commonly referred to as the Dwarf Purpleleaf Japanese Barberry. This easy-to-grow, compact selection grows slower and is more compact than the Crimson Pygmy Barberry. It features low mounds of wine red foliage from early spring through fall, intensifying in color as the months go by. Small clusters of yellow flowers add a nice contrast to the rich red foliage.

Bagatelle Purpleleaf Barberry enjoys full to part sun in average, well-drained soils. It is drought tolerant once established and is tolerant of urban pollution. It is a very popular landscape plant.
