Azalea x 'Rosebud' is commonly referred to as Rosebud Evergreen Azalea or Rosebud Gable Azalea. It is a Gable hybrid developed for exceptional quality and hardiness. It is a semi-evergreen variety and an old favorite that features light pink, double flowers in mid to late spring. It is regarded as the best pink rose-form fully double Azalea out there thus far!
Rosebud Gable Azalea has excellent mildew resistance and thrives in full to partial sun in rich, acidic, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It is ideal as a flowering hedge, used as a privacy screen, along borders or woodland gardens. Flowers attract all the pollinators including birds, butterflies and hummingbirds.
