ARONIA ARB BRILLIANTISSIMA
Grower Notes:

Aronia arbutifolia 'Brilliantissima' is commonly referred to as the Red Chokeberry. It is a deciduous, multi-stemmed shrub that grows suckers and forms colonies. It has clusters of clear white flowers in spring and are followed by clusters of large, edible red fruit that attract birds and other wildlife. The red berries are very tart, but can be tasty in jams and jellies. Foliage turns a spectacular bright red in fall.

The Red Chokeberry thrives in full sun to part shade and enjoys average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. Best fruit production usually occurs in full sun.
