AMELANCHIER CANADENSIS
Grower Notes:

Amelanchier canadensis is also known as the Shadblow Serviceberry. It is a large, native shrub or small tree. It features fragrant, white and light pink flowers in early spring that give way to sweet, edible purplish-black berries that can be used in jams, jellies and pies. Fall foliage is a showy orange-red. The Shadblow Serviceberry thrives in full or part sun in evenly moist, well-drained soils.
