AESCULUS CARNEA FT MCNAIR
Grower Notes:

The Fort McNair Red Horsechestnut is a rounded, deciduous, broadleaf tree for smaller yards. It has long, dense clusters of single pink flowers with yellow throats which are very attractive to hummingbirds. In fall the green foliage matures to a warm golden color.

The Fort McNair thrives in full sun with moist, well-drained soil - no standing water. It is well suited for both contemporary and rustic landscapes, possibly away from sidewalks due to the seedpods that may fall.
