Grower Notes:

Acer palmatum 'Bihou' is more commonly known as Bihou Japanese Maple. In Japanese, 'Bihou' means 'beautiful mountain range', and the Bihou Japanese Maples lives up to its name with a stunning view in every season. It boasts an upright habit and showy yellow bark with an orange tinge that is very showy, especially in winter. New leaves emerge pink in spring and turn light yellowish green in summer. In fall, the leaves illuminate to golden yellow before their fall.

Bihou Japanese Maple thrives in full to partial sun in organically rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It is ideal as a specimen tree.
