VIBURNUM NUDUM WINTERTHUR
Grower Notes:

Viburnum nudum 'Winterthur' is commonly referred to as Smooth Witherod or Winterthur Smooth Viburnum. This beautiful, compact, deciduous shrub has a rounded, multi-stemmed, upright-spreading habit and grows 6-7 feet tall with the same spread. It features shiny, deep green foliage that turns brilliant red in fall. In June, large clusters of creamy white flowers are followed by white berries that turn pink and mature to blue. Prune lightly when needed in fall. If you prune earlier you may decrease late summer fruiting. (Note: For beautiful fruit display plant shrubs in groups rather than single specimens for cross-pollination.)

Winterthur Smooth Viburnum thrives in full to partial sun in average, slightly acidic, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It can tolerate a wide range of growing conditions including boggy, low-lying areas. Winterthur Viburnum stands out no matter the season. With each season, there's a new visual treat that should not be missed!
