DIERVILLA LONICERA
Grower Notes:

Diervilla lonicera is commonly referred to as Northern Bush Honeysuckle. It is a very hardy, mounding, deciduous shrub that is perfect for mass plantings, banks and slopes as it suckers freely, forming colonies. It features yellow flowers that appear in late spring or early summer - sometimes all growing season. Flowers give rise to dry woody capsules in fall. Glossy green leaves with fine marginal teeth turn attractive shades of yellow and orange in fall.

Bush Honeysuckle enjoys full to part sun in average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It can be drought tolerant once established. Best grown in cooler summer climates.
