AZALEA EXB NORTHERN HILIGHT
Grower Notes:

Azalea exbury 'Northern Hi-Lights' is commonly referred to as Northern Hi-Lights Azalea or Northern Hi-Lights Rhododendron. It is a Northern Lights hybrids developed by the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in 1994 for its cold hardiness and compact habit. This hardy, easy to grow deciduous Azalea features fragrant flowers that emerge creamy white with elegant accents of yellow on its petals that appear on bare stems in mid-spring. Attractive, mildew-resistant, green narrow leaves turn a showy burgundy red in fall.

Northern Hi-Lights thrives in full to partial sun in rich, acidic, humusy, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It will not tolerate poor drainage. It is ideal for mass plantings, shrub borders and woodland gardens.
