GROWER NOTES: >
Echinacea x Prairie Stars™ 'Tomato Soup' PP19427 is commonly known as Tomato Soup Coneflower. It is part of the Prairie Stars™ collection and features large, tomato-red blooms, 6-inch across, on strong, well-branched stems. It blooms from mid-summer to frost with afternoon sun prolonging the bright red color.
Coneflowers are an eye-catching and popular perennial for many reasons. They are easy to grow and are heat and drought tolerant. They flower all summer and attract all kinds of birds and pollinators. They typically thrive in full sun, but if your summers are hot, they could use a bit more shade and water to prevent burning.
