Pinus strobus 'Fastigiata' is commonly referred to as the Columnar Eastern White Pine or the Fastigiate White Pine. It is a rapid-growing pine with a narrow, upright columnar form. Its branches, with soft bluish-green needles ascend upwards. Brown cones appear and benefit wildlife.
The Columnar White Pine enjoys full sun in well-drained soils. It is ideal for residential areas and parks.
