Picea pungens 'Glauca Slenderina Pendula' is commonly referred to as the Slenderina Weeping Blue Spruce. This weeping form of Colorado Spruce has a vivid blue color, and is more narrow and dense than other cultivars. It may be available as an upright, weeping form, or as a mounded form, where it will grow prostrate along the ground.
The Slenderina Weeping Blue Spruce should only be grown in full sun. It enjoys average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It will not tolerate standing water. It is considered drought tolerant once established and will thrive in city environments. It will also handle environmental salt well.
