Berberis thunbergii 'Tiny Gold' PP17083 is commonly referred to as Tiny Gold Barberry. It is a compact dwarf deciduous shrub with bright yellow foliage in spring and early summer that darkens to a yellowish lime green through summer. In fall its foliage matures to reddish gold.
Tiny Gold Barberry is ideal as a specimen plant or for mass plantings. It looks terrific in containers with little pruning. It enjoys full sun and average, well-drained soils. It will not tolerate standing water. It can be drought tolerant once established. This is a bright barberry that will bring vivid color to the landscape.
