GROWER NOTES: >
Viburnum lantana 'Emerald Triumph' is commonly referred to as Emerald Triumph Viburnum. It is a cross between Viburnum 'Allegheny' and Viburnum 'burejaeticum'. It is a compact, rounded, deciduous shrub that features attractive white flowers in flat clusters in April and May. Flowers are followed by bright red berries called drupes in late summer, maturing to black in fall. Fruit production is heavier if other Viburnums are nearby to help with pollination. Leathery, glossy dark green leaves turn bronze to dark red in fall.
Emerald Triumph Viburnum thrives in full to partial sun in average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. This cultivar is known to be able to tolerate well-drained clay to sandy loam soils. It is ideal for mixed borders, foundation, screen or hedge plantings.
