Chaenomeles speciosa Orange Storm® PP20950 is commonly referred to as Proven Winners® Color Choice® Double Take® Orange Quince It is a thornless variety that features large, fully double, orange flowers - an old fashion beauty without the thorns or mess. This Proven Winners® Double Take® variety is fruitless so messy cleanup. It will often rebloom in fall for some late season color.
Orange Storm Quince thrives in full sun in average, evenly moist, well-drained soil. It is excellent for hedging, mass planting and cut flower gardens. If pruning is required, do so after blooming ceases in early summer as it blooms next year on its old growth.
