Forsythia intermedia 'Lynwood Gold' is commonly referred to as Lynwood Gold Forsythia. It is the classic harbinger of spring - A reliable fast-growing, upright, deciduous shrub with arched branches and golden yellow flowers in late winter and early spring. One of the first plants to flower in early spring and great for cutting! Once colors fade, Lynwood Gold produces deer resistant, dark green leaves and allow for privacy and shaping.
Lynwood Gold Forsythia thrives in full sun in average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It can tolerate urban pollution and can thrive in city environments. It is useful for shrub borders and bank planting, and is impressive when massed.
