GROWER NOTES: >
The Salix integra 'Hakuro-nishiki' is commonly known as the Dappled Willow or Dappled Japanese Willow. It is a compact cultivar that features attractive variegated foliage throughout its growing season. Narrow, lance-shaped leaves emerge pink then change to white with green, sometimes all at the same time! Stems turn red in fall and provide attractive winter interest.
The Dappled Willow enjoys full to part sun in rich, moist, well-drained soils. Best foliage color occurs in cool summer climates.
