Azalea x 'White Rosebud' is a Kehr Hybrid. It is an evergreen Azalea hybrid developed by Dr. Kehr, who crossed Azalea Gable 'Rosebud' with Azalea 'Vervaeneana Alba'. It features semi-double white flowers that have a chartreuse throat. Flowers have numerous overlapping, ruffled lobes and resemble white rose buds and open like roses in May. A very dramatic look in the landscape!
White Rosebud Azalea thrives in part shade in rich, fertile, acidic, evenly moist, well-drained soils.
