PANICUM VIR NORTHWIND
Grower Notes:
Noteworthy for one of the best vertical forms. This cultivar has blue-olive green foliage and finely-textured, yellow flower panicles that hover over the foliage in late summer. It prefers full sun but will grow in partial shade. The Northwind switch grass performs well in a wide range of climates. It is extremely drought tolerant, but is not irritated by moist soils. It is deer resistant and has no serious insect or disease issues.
