Maackia amurensis 'Summertime' is commonly referred to as Summertime Amur Maackia. It is a low branching, single-trunked tree with mottled olive green to golden brown bark and numerous bottlebrush-like racemes of small, fragrant, creamy white flowers in mid to late summer. Its forest green foliage emerge silver in spring.
Summertime Amur Maackia is an adaptable and slow-growing tree. It thrives in full sun in moist, well-drained soil. It is tolerant of urban pollution and salt and would make an ideal street tree.
