Zone: 5SNOW LADY SHASTA DAISY
Leucanthemum 'Snow Lady' (Snow Lady Shasta Daisy) is a popular and award-winning (1991 All-America Selections Winner) dwarf variety of Shasta Daisy, cherished for its compact size and profuse, classic blooms. It features the quintessential daisy look: single, pure white ray petals surrounding a bright yellow center disk. The flowers are about a little over 2 inches in diameter and held on rigid, non-staking stems above a neat, mounding clump of dark green foliage.
'Snow Lady' is a dwarf cultivar, reaching a height of only 9-12 inches and a spread of about 18-24 inches, making it perfect for the front of a border, rock gardens, or containers. It is one of the earliest Shasta Daisies to bloom, starting in late spring or early summer and continuing its show reliably throughout the summer and often into fall with deadheading. It requires full sun and well-drained soil, and once established, shows good tolerance for drought, deer, and rabbits.
