CONSTELLATION® CHINESE DOGWOOD
Cornus kousa x florida 'Rutcan' PP7210 Constellation® is commonly referred to as Constellation® Dogwood. It is a cross between a Kousa Dogwood and a Florida Dogwood developed by Rutgers University. This showy hybrid features white floral bracts in late spring which stand out against its green foliage. In fall the foliage turns an attractive red and burgundy. It is a sterile cultivar so there is no fruit.
Constellation® Dogwood is disease resistant and easy to grow. It thrives in full sun to partial shade in organically rich, acidic, evenly moist, well-drained soils.
