Achillea millefolium 'Balvinviolet' is commonly referred to as New Vintage™ Violet. This Proven Winners® New Vintage™ selection is a summer bloomer that is easy to grow and features a compact habit with long blooming vivid purple-magenta flat-topped flowers that keep their color longer, reblooming very well through the summer. Flowers attract bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators.
New Vintage™ Violet Yarrow is one of the easiest perennials to grow and thrives in full sun in average, dry to medium moisture, well-drained soils. It does best in full sun, but can tolerate less. It can be drought tolerant once established. It is an attractive addition to the landscape in borders or mass plantings.
