Unusual
amongst the Austin intros for a few reasons. Firstly, it’s a bicolor of
even salmon-pink with a yellow reverse and the monstrous blossoms keep
that contrast throughout the life of the flower.
Secondly, it’s a hot-weather lover…so much so that it
will not be introduced in the UK. Lastly, its large dark grey-green
leaves provide the most attractive foliage yet in this line. Floriferous
enough to be a successful Climber in our milder climates.
