GROWER NOTES: >
This stunning Western Lights Azalea (Azalea exbury 'Western Lights) boats vibrant pink blooms with a touch of yellow in spring, followed by glossy green foliage that transforms into a captivating display of purple and bronze tones in fall. This broadleaf deciduous shrub is a polyploid form of the well-loved Azalea 'Orchid Lights'. It has improved luster, larger flowers and more colorful purple and bronze foliage in fall.
Western Lights Azalea thrives in full to partial sun in rich, humusy, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It is ideal for tight garden spots as its spread is only 4-5 feet. It is ideal in mixed borders and foundation plantings.
