GROWER NOTES: >
Taxus baccata 'Repandens' is commonly referred to as Creeping English Yew or English Yew. This very popular, slow-growing, evergreen shrub is small, prostrate and wide-spreading. It has dense, deep green foliage. Berries are rarely produced and only on older plants.
Creeping English Yew thrives in both full sun and partial shade in average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It can tolerate full shade, but not standing water. It is ideal as a groundcover in woodland areas or in foundation plantings.
