GROWER NOTES: >
Thuja occidentalis 'Woodwardii' is commonly referred to as Woodwardii Arborvitae. It is a slow-growing, globular-spreading evergreen shrub that features scale-like, flattened green foliage that does not need pruned to keep its shape. Foliage turns bronze in winter. It has distinct, upright branching that broadens with age.
Woodwardii Arborvitae is very hardy with good disease and pest resistance. It thrives in full sun in rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It is ideal for hedges and shrub borders.
