Pinus strobus 'Horsford' is commonly referred to as the Horsford White Pine or Horsford Dwarf Pine. It is a slow-growing, dense, irregular globose, dwarf variety of white pine with short lime green needles that form a dense bun.
The Horsford Dwarf Pine enjoys cooler summers. It thrives in full sun in well-drained soils. It is ideal in rock gardens and part of foundation plantings.
