Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Reis Dwarf' is commonly referred to as the Reis Dwarf Hinoki Cypress. It is a very slow-growing, narrow, irregular upright Hinoki Cypress. It features branches that emerge as long, kinky tendrils that gradually fill out during spring and summer producing a sculptural form of tight, twisted, congested tufts of bright green foliage.
The Reis Dwarf Hinoki Cypress enjoys full sun to part shade in rich, moist, well-drained soils. It is ideal for unique garden plantings, bonsai, rock gardens and containers.
