GROWER NOTES: >
Weigela capifoliacear 'Courtalor' is commonly referred to as Carnival Weigela. It is a Tetraploid hybrid from France with gracefully arching branches that become covered with Azalea-like blooms in red, white and pink. It flowers in late spring and reblooms throughout the summer. It is a stunning sight to see! It attracts bees, butterflies, hummingbirds and other beneficial pollinators. Forest green leaves stay fresh through the summer.
Carnival Weigela thrives in full sun in average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It should not be allowed to dry out. It is tolerant of urban pollution and can thrive in city environments.
