GROWER NOTES:

Viburnum x burkwoodii is commonly referred to as Burkwoodii Viburnum or Burkwood Viburnum. This is an upright, multi-stemmed, semi-evergreen shrub which features dark pink buds that open to wonderfully fragrant, white with pink flower clusters in spring followed by clusters of red fruit that turns black in late summer. Beneficial pollinators are attracted to its flowers and wildlife are attracted to its berries. Dark green leaves turn maroon in fall except where evergreen. Prune as needed immediately after flowering.

Burkwood Viburnum thrives in full to partial sun in fertile, humus-rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It is ideal as a hedge, screen or specimen plant. It adapts to poor, compact soils and can be drought tolerant once established.
