GROWER NOTES: >
The Bailey's Red Twig Dogwood is a multi-stem, deciduous shrub that has a rounded form. It is noteworthy for its hardiness and showy, bright red stems in fall and winter that contrast beautifully against the northern snow. Clusters of white flowers form in late spring. Its green foliage ages to a beautiful brick red. White fruit develops late and add to the winter interest. Birds love the berries! Only prune after flowering so as to avoid removing any current flowers that are forming.
