GROWER NOTES:
The Elegantissima Red Twig Dogwood is a deciduous shrub that provides interest in every season. Its variegated leaves are green with creamy white margins. Small, white flowers appear late spring to early summer and may get overshadowed by its beautiful variegated foliage.
In fall the leaves change to gold and red. As the Elegantissima heads to winter, attractive white berries are produced with traces of blue and green. Bright red stem color lasts all year and is its brightest red in full sun. Prune out part of the old wood each year to encourage colorful new growth.
